The funeral for Mrs. Ilda J. Noble, 68, of route 4, Canton, was at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lawrence Funeral Home in Canton with the Rev. L. Everett Waite officiating... Mrs. Noble died Friday (Feb. 11, 1977) at the House of the Good Samaritan in Watertown where she had been a patient for the past two days.
Surviving are her husband Bower Noble; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Noreen) Saber of Canton and [ed. note: two others living]; three sons, Orrin and [ed. note: two others living]; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Noble of Canton, Mrs. Dorothy Scott of Gouverneur, and Mrs. Lee (Avis) McCollum of Russell...
She married Bower Noble Oct. 17, 1928. Mrs. Noble was employed as a practical nurse and was a member of the Crary Mills Church and the Crary Mills Grange.
