Mrs. Sarah J. Culbertson
Mrs. Sarah Jane Culbertson, 63, widow of John Culbertson of Wegatchie, died at her home Monday night after an illness of five weeks. Burial will be made in Oxbow cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, Morley Culbertson, Theresa; William Culbertson, Oxbow; four daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Scott, Oxbow; Mrs. Bower (Ida) Noble, Crary Mills; Mrs. Loys (Jessie) Noble, Canton; Mrs. Lee (Avis) McCollum, Russell; one brother, George Venton, Wegatchie, and 27 grandchildren.

Mrs. Culbertson was born in the town of Macomb March 30, 1884, the daughter of Jacob and Aurila Washburn Venton. She attended district schools. On Feb 27, 1911 she was married to John Culbertson, a farmer in Gouverneur. Mr. Culbertson died July 13, 1945.
