Died peacefully the evening of November 2, 2003 at home surrounded by family and friends. Gloria was born April 20, 1924 to Guadalupe and Fausto Amargo.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Francisco B. Jesus (1994). She is survived by her children who love her dearly, she was a devoted mother-in-law and adored her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She is survived by her loving brother Fausto Amargo, Jr. and Paul Dohrman of Spring Valley.

A great friend to many, Gloria enjoyed life fully. She was extremely grateful to her family and friends who rallied to support her with their love and attention during her last months.

There will be a Mass on Monday, Nov 10, 2003 at 9am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1770 Kearney Ave., SD, CA. A reception will follow at El Cajon Valley Park, 410 S. 1st St., El Cajon, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in her memory.
