David Bolard is the son of Frederick (from Amsterdam, Holland) & Elizabeth North (from Ireland) Bolard. He was married 4 times (each wife passed on before him and all 4 are buried in the same plot as David): He married Juliann Nelson, June 28, 1827; Elizabeth Nelson, March 26, 1835; Esther Landon, June 19, 1851; & Elizabeth Hull Cary, Oct. 4, 1867. He had a total of 12 children: Richard, Frederick, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jacob, James, Eliza, David, Christopher, Harriet, Alice and John.
David was a member of the M.E. Church. He held the office of Steward & Trustee within the church. He was a farmer by trade.
David served as a Drummer Boy in the War of 1812 at the age of 12.
David died in his home from a severe liver disease. He's buried in the Bolard Plot along with his four wives, a son and a daughter.
