Lydia was the sixth of eight children born to Jacob Starry and Eliza Hummer Starry.
All of the information I find lists her name as Lydia Jane Starry (so I do not yet know for what the middle initial A stands; her grandmother was Lydia Ann Sarbrough Starry). She married William Bolen on December 27, 1870. My records show nine children born to them between 1872 and 1891; John, Fannie Grace, Charles Edgar, Jesse Irven, Baby Bolen, Bertha Mae, Jennie, Abbie, and Carrie Ruth.
