Clinton Keith---- Enlisted on 3 Dec 1863 Barre, VT in E Company 11th Vermont inf and was Wounded at the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA and mustered out on 24 Jun 1865. After the War Clinton moved to E. Hardwick. He was a Carpenter, Joiner and millright. And in partnership with G.H. Lawrence owned a large Saw-mill run by water from the Lamoille River as well as a Shingle-Mill. The Saw-Mill produced 200,000 ft of Lumber/year and the Shingle-Mill 150,000 shingles. He also served Hardwick as 2nd Selectman. He was married 4 Times-----Mahala Averill Wilson on 27 Feb 1861 in Barre, VT -Nancy Jane Welch on 26 May 1866 in Hardwick, VT--Agusta Sabrina Day on 17 Apr 1878 in E.Hardwick,VT --Susan Louisa Goodrich on 31 Aug 1905 in Hardwick, VT.. Children Clara Belle, Cora, Alice.
