Justin Blackburn, 28, a lifelong resident of Wetumpka died unexpectedly at home Wednesday night. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Peggy Blackburn; sister, Amber Blackburn; brother, Sean Blackburn and his wife, Jasmine; maternal grandparents, George and Marie Pflum; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.E. and Ivis Blackburn. Justin graduated from Wetumpka High School in 1999 and attended both The University of Alabama and Auburn University Montgomery.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Merrell officiating. Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
