Mrs. Farthing relict of the late Reverend Stephen Farthing, of Beaver Dam, died at her home Sunday night in the 81st year of age. Her brother the venerable John Adams, and next to her in the family, died the same night at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Daily Combs, on Cove Creek. Sweet thought it is that they traveled the pathway of life for four score year and enter the gates of the Eternal City hand in hand. Two more sheaves of golden grain garnered by the master.
