Born August 18, 1878 in Ashe County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Lowery and Mary Lowman Houck.
She was a widow of Edmond V. Bailey.
She was a member of the Bramwell Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Survivors include four sons, William Bailey and Edward Bailey of Bramwell and Ellis and Louey D. Bailey of Falls Mills, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Vane Anderson of Muskogee, Ok. and Nora Bailey of Falls Mills; one sister, Mrs. B.B. Scott of Hopewell, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Falls Mills Christian Church with Rev. John Bowles officiating.
Burial will follow in Houck Cemetery at Pocahontas, Va.
Friends may call at Graham Funeral Home in Bluefield, Va. after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers: Howard Peake, Walter Lawrence, James Lawrence, Sonny Boone, Richard Turner, Roger Stanfield, Clyde Anderson and Richard Jessee.
