Margaret was the daughter of Patrick McNevin (1828-1909) and Mary Noonan (1837-1908) She was Patrick second daughter and Mary's first and Thomas J. McNevin's older sister. Since their mother's death in 1908 Margaret became the "mother-in-law" to TJ and Freda. Her husband was James, who she met in St. Paul, Mn. and married on 11 1, 1888 in Morris Mn where her family lived. She had eight children :Mary Ellen (1890-1890) John Justin (1892-1939) Bernadette (1893-1893) Raymond Louis (1894-1981) Anthony Joseph (1896-1939) Francis Ransom (1898-1965) Anna Marie (1901-1901) and an unnamed Daughter. The family moved to Montana in the 1916 and lived there until 1920 when Jim retired and he and Margaret moved to Long Beach via Seattle where Ray was living (per 1920 census). She lived with her son Jack until his death in 1939 and inherited his home. She was active in Holy Innocents Catholic Church and was a past grand regent of the Catholic Daughters of America. She died of a stroke. The Cemetery is at 4201 Whittier Blvd, LA.
