In 1962, Mrs. Knight and her family returned to Bulloch County where she began her career with Brinson's IGA, retiring after many years of service. She was a longtime member of the Lanes Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Knight.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Judy and Vernon Knight; a granddaughter, Dawn Knight; a sister, Blanche (Fred) Sijarto; a brother Dean (Maryann) Denmark and her loving companion and pet "Abbey".
