He was a native of Bulloch County and a resident of Savannah for most of his life. He was a member of South Gardens Christian Church and attended Mount Olive Christian Church. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 184.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Juanita B. Denmark of Savannah; three sons, David Denmark of Orlando, Fla., Jimmy Boykin of Thunderbolt and Gary Boykin of Savannah; three daughters, Debbie Reeder of Orlando, Lillian Counts of Pembroke and Carole Boykin of Savannah; two stepsons, Robert and Harold Elmore, both of Savannah; two brothers, Matt Denmark of Garden City and Dean Denmark of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Carrie Conerly and Bernice Boatright, both of Statesboro, Zedna Young of Savannah and Verna Knight of Leefield, and Blanch Sijarto of Benson, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today and Monday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel, burial in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
