When Dona Belle Moore* was born on May 23, 1892, in South Fork, Arkansas, her father, Thomas, was 30 and her mother, Hixie, was 19. When she was 14 her mother died and Dona became the mother to her brothers and sisters. Dona had matching grave stones made for her parents after their death. She married William Lewis on March 11, 1911, in Hardy, Arkansas. They had 11 children in 24 years. She was in constant prayer as she moved around performing her house work. She died on September 6, 1975, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, at the age of 83. She saw and spoke of the angels in her room at her death. RCW 2014
