Ernie Dee Owens was the oldest child of Lee Carl and Carrminnie Alsada (Wattenbarger) Owens. She was raised in Fannin County where she met and married Andy Victory Bounds on 16 Sep 1923. They had 7 children. She was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She never learned to drive and either walked or rode a bus or had to get a ride from one of her children or grandchildren. She loved to travel but did not get to very often.
