Maxwell Jay Bradshaw was born in Flint, Michigan on March 9, 1917, the son of Jay and Alice (Hollway) Bradshaw. He married Marcella Warner, August 3, 1940 celebrating 62 years of marriage. He served our country during WWII in the U.S. Army, 60 year member of the American Legion Fisher Body Post #342 and Post Commander, Member of the 40 and 8 and a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. He owned and operated Bradshaw Brothers Used Cars for 25 years retiring in 1974. After his retirement, he worked for the MESC as a claims examiner for 9 years. Max was an avid coin collector and loved horse and dog racing. His wife Marcella Bradshaw survives him; daughter, Linda "Penny" Hadd and husband Larry of Goodrich and their children, David Hadd and wife Nancy of Charlotte, NC, Carrie Lloyd and husband Bob of Otisville; great-granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Hadd of Charlotte, NC; very best friend, Fritz Giegling of Flint; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Barton W. Bradshaw, August 3, 1973; 1 brother, Keith and 3 sisters, Jean, Phyllis, and Leone.
