Our dad, Winnie Henderson Pack, died on a Thursday of January 9th, 1992, in the Beckley Hospital at the age of 86 years.

He was the son of Samuel John Tilden Pack and Margaret Elizabeth Dunbar Pack. He lived most of his life in Summers County. His occupation was a timberman as well served two terms on the Summers County Democratic Executive Committee from the Bluestone District.

He was a member of the Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church. He also was the president of the Nimitz-Jumping Branch Senior Citizens Organization. He was also head trustee of the Lilly-Crews Cemetery.

He was married to Jamie Lee Lilly Pack, a daughter of Ali Walter and Tennerie Mann Lilly. Jamie preceeded him in death on September 20, 1973 at the home of their daughter, Maxine Pack Bragg who lives on Robin Roost Rd. in Nimitz.
