Following is obituary from the Greensboro News & Record (NC) - August 2, 2006.

GREENSBORO - Mr. Robert "Bob" Hoover Bradley, 87, of Greensboro went peacefully to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 30, 2006, while being surrounded by his family at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elaine Brewer, in Archdale. Since the passing of Mr. Bradley's son, Ronald Robert Bradley on January 27 and then his wife of 65 years, Pauline Cotton Bradley on May 5, his health rapidly declined.

Funeral services will be held 11a.m. Thursday August 3 at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, with the Rev. Burley Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery in the family plot.

Born and raised in Lee County, Mr. Bradley was born September 10, 1918 in Broadway. He was the third of four children born to the late William Robert Bradley and Cora Mae Kelly Bradley. A member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Mr. Bradleywas a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He was a lifelong member of the P. P. Turner Masonic Lodge #746 (32 degree mason) and attained the honor of being a Scottish Rite Mason for 25 plus years. He worked in the automotive sales and service industry for most of his life, sharing his vast knowledge in the training of others in his same field. Bob married Mary Pauline Cotton of Merry Oaks on May 11, 1943 in Cheraw, SC and they spent the next 65 years building a family and life together. In addition to Mr. Bradley's wife and son, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow Bradley and Silas Lee Bradley (surviving spouse, Virginia) and one sister, Ida Mae Bradley.

Those left to cherish Mr. Bradley's memory include his daughter, Elaine C. Brewer and her husband Jeffrey of Archdale; the surviving wife of his son, Ronald Robert Bradley, Sylvia; three grandchildren, Benjamin David Sechrest, Cindy Batts and her husband John, and Christy Brewer Stokes; and on great-grandchild, Coltrane Porter Stokes.
Mr. Bradley will be most remembered by friends and family as being a special man with great devotion to his family. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He would always do his best to be of help in any way he could to his friends and neighbors. He took great pride in his home and especially in keeping his yard flawlessly manicured, beautifully lush and green.

Pallbearers for Mr. Bradley will consist of his grandson, Benjamin Sechrest; nephews, Sonny Cotton and Nathan Cotton; grandson-in-law, John Batts; and friends of the family, Rick Brewer and Cary Player.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home on Vanstory St. in Greensboro.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph County at P. O. Box 9, Asheboro 27204.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt and sincerest appreciation to all the nurses, aides and staff at Hospice of Randolph County who participated in the care of Mr. Bradley and for the wonderful love and compassion extended to Mr. Bradley and his family during his illness. Also, sincere appreciation and gratitude is extended to Dr. Arthur Green and staff, of Piedmont Senior and Adult Care, for the outstanding compassion and care of Mr. Bradley during these past many years
