KUTTAWA, Ky.--Eva Orr Brooks, 96, of Kuttawa, formerly of Between the Rivers, died at 3:24 p.m. Monday at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa.
She was a member of Star Lime Works Pentecostal Church in Lake City.
She is survived by two sons, James Russell Brooks of Kuttawa and Edward Hayes Brooks of Las Vegas; one daughter, Mattie Lucille Lockman of Ozark, Ark.; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Russell Brooks; two sons, Wallace Preston Brooks and J.W. Brooks; a stepson, Sherman Ray Orr; one grandson; four brothers; three half brothers; three sisters; and one half sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville. The Rev. Willis McCracken will officiate, with burial in Paradise Cemetery Between the Rivers.
