Sali Taro, of 207 Knollwood Dr., Jamestown, died at 10:45 pm Friday in Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. He was in an automobile accident February 13th, near Lexington and had been a patient in the hospital since the accident.
Mr. Taro was born in Italy, a son of Angelo and Virginia Marrella Taro. He had been a resident of High Point for 34 years, coming here from New Jersey. He was president of Southeastern Marble and Tile Company, Inc. Also, he was a member of the Elks Lodge #1155. On December 23, 1952, he was married to Alma Liggins.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alma L. Taro; two sons, Joey and Sali Taro Jr., all of the home; two sons by a former marriage, Charles Taro of 326 Dogwood Dr. and Thomas Taro of Nutley, New Jersey; four grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers.
