HOWARD BRYSON, SR.
Services for Howard Arthur Bryson, Sr., Hoxbar Rt., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nove. 10, 1981, in Bettes Chapel. Rev. Earl Scroggins will officiate with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born May 16, 1916, in Jackson County, Texas, Bryson died Nov. 9 in a local hospital.
A retired plumber, he had lived in Ardmore since 1952 and was a veteran of WWII. His wife, the former Ruby Pauley, preceded him in death April 26, 1976. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and D.A.V..
Survivors include a son, Howard Jr., Ardmore, six daughters, Glyness Bryson, Odessa, Texas, Gayle Hinds, Cisco, Texas, Sandra Hulsey, Carrollton, Texas, Barbara Roberts, Oklahoma City, Sharon Daniels, Houston, Marion McGowen, Ardmore; a brother, Donald, Harper, Kan; two sisters, Mrs. Zana Parsons, Altus, Mrs. Dale Hancock, Chulevista, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren.
Bearers will be Herman Green, T.P. Moss, Buster Evers, Robert Howell, Truman Rouse, and Elwood Hattensty.
Bettes Funeral Home will direct services.
