"Fern A. Klopp, 84, of 511 21st St NE, died Sunday in St Luke's Hospital after along illness. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home and after noon Wednesday at the chapel.

Survivors include a son, Robert and his wife, Joy, of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Arlene LeClere and her husband, Dwight, of Coggon, and Mary Lou Musser and her husband, Ed, of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Merle Tritle of Alburnette, Harry Tritle of Cedar Rapids, and Charlie Thritle of Marion; 10 grandchildren, David and Doug LeClere and Kim Smith, all of Coggon, The Rev. Donald LeClere of Marshall, Minn., John Klopp of Mount Vernon, Deborah and Robert T. Klopp Jr., both of Cedar Rapids, Julie Allen of West Palm Beach, Fla., Janine Musser of Cedar Rapids and Herb Musser of Ely; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Fern was born June 9, 1908, in Central City, the daughter of Barney and Emma Tritle, and married Arthur T. Klopp on June 30, 1925, in Marion. He died in 1949. She worked at Turner Co. for 38 years on the assembly line. She was a member of Central Park Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star Malta Chapter 415, Turner Retirees Club, and IBEW Local 1354, for which she was business manager for many years.

The Rev. Philip Windsor will officiate. Memorial donations may be given to Central Park Prebyterian Church."
