William Burns, 89, of San Diego died Sunday. He was born in Moultrie, Ga., and was a civil service upholsterer at North Island Naval Air Station. He served in the Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Katherine Knox of San Diego; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
