Funeral services in his memory were conducted at the family home Friday at 2 p.m. interment in the Excelsior Union cemetery. The following neighbors acted as pall bearers: Bert Gifford, Henry Fentzel, Fred Cochran, George Gilson, John Anderson and Jay Richardson. Those from a distance to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Holmes of Falconer, N.Y.,; Mr. and Mrs. harry Vail of Townsville, Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Gifford of the McKinney Road, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Vroman of Jamestown, N.Y. Titusville Herald, June 24, 1926
