Regina Gronski, 88, Superior, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 in St Mary's Hospital, Superior. She was born on June 5, 1920 to Stanley and Josephine (Andruskiewicz) Kulas in Split Rock Township, MN.

She married Peter Gronski on March 4, 1937 in Superior and celebrated 58 years of marriage before he passed away in August of 1995. Regina was a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic church.

In addition to her husband, Peter, Regina was preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law, Paul Martineau; two daughters-in-law, Lynne Gronski and Doreen Gronski; eight brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Martineau, Superior and Cynthia Gronski, Superior; four sons, Ronald (Elizabeth), Superior, John (Rose), Superior, George, Superior and Timothy, Hixton, WI; one sister, Sophie Gronski, Superior; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
