MRS. EDWIN MEMEL

Young Madisonian and Charming Personality and Ability, Died t Cincinnati Today

The city is shocked to learn that Mrs. Edwin Memel had passed away at her home in Cincinnati.

A telephone message received from Mr. Elmer E. Scott conveyed the sad news of the death of his daughter, which occurred at noon after a brief illness with influenza-pneumonia. Mr. Scott has been with his daughter since Tuesday.

Mrs. Edwin Memel, whom we all know and love as Margaret Scott, was born in Madison and would have been 26 years of age in June. Here she played as a children, developed into beautiful girlhood; here she married and helped to establish a home of her own.

She attended the public schools of Madison and graduated from the Madison high school with the class of 1912. She was a charming and accomplished girl and the announcement of her passing has caused profound sorrow among numberless friends.

Much has been taken from the husband and small son; from father, brother and friends; sweet ties have been severed but much is left. The Christian's hope and fadeless memories are theirs.

The remains will be brought to Madison, but no definite arrangements for the funeral have been made.
