Earl married Alice Lenore Deeds in Shoshone, Idaho on December 11, 1926. The couple headed to Alberta, Canada. Their first child, Howard, was born there. The family then came back to Idaho and their daughter, Marjorie, was born in Jerome. In 1940 they lived in Richfield, Idaho, eventually moving to American Falls. Earl was a farmer. He died of hypostatic pneumonia.

RICHFIELD - Earl Johnson, American Falls, former resident of Richfield, died Monday at American Falls. He was a former employee of the Big Wood River Canal Company and lived here from 1934 to 1937. He married the former Lenore Deeds, Richfield.
Other survivors include one son, Howard Johnson, Pocatello; one daughter, Mrs. Marjory Coon, Aberdeen; his father, D.C. Johnson, Calgary, Canada, and sisters in Gooding, Rupert, Arco, and Canada.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at American Falls.
