AMERICAN FALLS - Lenore Richardson, 78, of American Falls, died Monday, January 16, at Harms Memorial Hospital following an illness.


She was born December 6, 1910 at Kimberly, to John and Bertha Entrekin Deeds. She was raised and educated in Jerome County.

Following school, she married Earl John in 1926. They farmed in the Jerome area until 1947. They then moved to Aberdeen. She worked as a cook at the Old Homestead Cafe for several years. Mr. Johnson died in 1955.

In April 1956 she married Clarence "Rusty" Richardson. They purchased the Silver Horseshu Bar and operated it until retirement in 1972. He died September 26, 1982.

She enjoyed fishing and crocheting.


She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Coon, Aberdeen; two brothers, Lyle Deeds, Richfield; Howard Deeds, Boise; three sisters, Helen Pelley and Fay Hubsmith, both of Richfield; Lois Pridmore, Boise; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Howard Johnson.


Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the American Falls Assembly of God with Paster James Dunn officiating.

Alice Lenore Deeds first married Earl Lewis Johnson. When he died in 1955, he was buried in American Falls, Idaho. Then she married Clarence Elmer Richardson. When he died in 1982, he was buried in Rockland, Idaho. Lenore or A. Lenore is on the grave markers of both husbands and her birth date is in each place. However, only her death date shows on the grave marker in American Falls.
