Fairbury Journal News, July 10, 2001. Ida C. Bodtke, 93, of Fairbury NE, died July 7, 2001, at the Heritage Care Center in Fairbury. Survivors include her daughters, Luella Bauer and her husband, Oscar, of Fairbury, Myrna Brauch and her husband, Gale, of Hebron, and Janice Bodtke of Endicott; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Elmer Aufderheide of Filer ID. Services were July 10 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury, with the Rev. Charles Schmidt officiating. Memorials to the Lutheran Hour or Grace Lutheran Radio Broadcast. Burial was in the Fairbury Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury.
