He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Alaska.
He was a life member of American Legion Post 184, Palm, where he was past president of its home association, and a member of Owls Nest 1302, East Greenville, and East Greenville Fire Company.
Survivors: Wife and sisters, Blanche, wife of Kenneth Treffinger of Perkasie, and Elaine, wife of Albert J. Brener of Sellersville. He was predeceased by a son Perry and daughter Patricia.
