Mrs. Emma Badger, 89, of RD 3, died Friday at Dunlap Hospital, Orrville, shortly after being admitted. She had been ill several days.
She was born in East Union Township to Cyrus and Christina Fortney Stauffer, June 3, 1879. She lived in the area all her life.
She was a member of East Union Lutheran Church.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Carrie Smith of Wooster RD 3.
Her husband Lafe Badger, died in 1950. Three brothers and seven sisters died previously.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville with Rev. Lester Slagle officiating.
Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Although her obituary listed her burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, she is actually buried at Apple Creek Cemetery.
