Before retiring, she worked for Speare Memorial Hospital.

She was married to Roy Ames Sr. who died in 1974.

She was a member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church and Dorchester Grange.

Family members include a son, Roy Ames Jr., of Wentworth; a daughter, Mrs. Fay Brown of Warren; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother Chandler Clark of Port Richey, Fla.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth.

A gravesite service is scheduled for Thursday at 2 p.m. in Foster Cemetery, Wentworth. The Rev. John Blair, pastor of the Plymouth United Methodist Church, will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to Warren-Wentworth Fast Squad, Warren 03279.
