GREENUP. Ky. - Edward A. (Ed) Davis, 72, died at his home in East Greenup at 9:30 a.m. today.
A retired farmer, Mr. Davis moved here from York four years ago.
He was born March 25, 1889 at York, and was a son of Alfred and Mary Howland Davis.
Surviving are the wife Adeline McGarey Davis; a son, Alfred of Load, a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Bradley of Greenup and three grandchildren.
Mr. Davis was a member of tin: Greenup Missionary Baptist Church. The body is at the Riggs Funeral Home where friends may call after 6:30 today.
Funeral services have been set for Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Davis Cemetery at York.
