Michael Bandas, 80, of San Diego died Sunday. He was born in Auburn, N.Y., and was a production manager for North Island Naval Air Station.
He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of VFW Encanto Post 6874.
Survivors include his companion, Eleanor Atkins; and sisters, Helen Glowacki, Irene Bashta and Ann Bandas, all of Auburn, N.Y.
