Raymond, age 92, died on Monday, October 3, 2005, in Fresno, CA. He was born on July 13, 1913, in Grayson County, TX, and grew up in North Texas, Oklahoma and California. He married Alice Mae Dawson on June 12, 1939, in Durant, OK. Raymond worked for the U.S. Military as a civilian employee at Fresno's Hammer Field during WWII, and after the war, for an automobile dealer. He then spent almost three decades employed by the International Harvester dealer in Fresno. He retired in 1978. He was a man of integrity who will be missed by family and friends. His wife, Alice Mae Dawson Alexander, predeceased him in 1996. Three sons survive him, Marion Wayne Alexander and his wife Sarah, Michael Ray Alexander and his wife Linda, and Darrell Stephen Alexander and his wife Cyndi.
