Funeral services held, Fri., Dec. 8 for Hans Faber
Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed church of Sioux Center on Friday, Dec. 8, at 10:00 a.m. for Mr. Hans Faber, 64, prominent Sioux Center Realtor and Auctioneer and a lifelong resident of the community.
Mr. Faber died at his home very suddenly early Tuesday morning due to a heart ailment.
Rev. Richard De Ridder officiated at the service, and interment took place in the Sioux Center Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.
Mr. Faber is survived by his widow, the former Sadie Tamminga; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Joyce) Guerkink of San Marcos, Calif; Mrs. Peter (Leona) Noteboom of Orange
City, and Mrs. Henry (Evelyn) Prins of Alsip, Ill., and two sons, Chester and Howard, both of Escondido, Calif. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Martin Wierda, Mrs. Dick Doornink and Mrs. John Nyhof, all of Sioux Center.
