Rev. Richard DeBriae of the Bend Baptist Church will officiate under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Babcock, a homemaker, was born to Mounce and Mary Bowman January 26, 1905, in the Dixie community near Caldwell. She attended the Green Top School through the eighth grade then attended Greenleaf Academy for three years.
She married Lewis Sayre in March of 1915 at Caldwell. They lived all of their married life at Wilder and Caldwell and raised four children. (Athol, Maxine, Helen, Reba) Mr. Sayre died in November of 1952.
She later married Walter Babcock in May of 1958 in Caldwell. They made their home in Caldwell until he passed away in January of 1972. She then moved to Sacramento, Calif., where she lived with a daughter.
