Mercedes "Lushy" Guajardo 21 of Monmouth, IL passed away Sunday April 18, 2010 in Iowa City, IA. She was born October 27, 1988 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Javier and Ruth Rodriguez Guajardo.
She is survived by her parents Ruth and Javier Guajardo of Burlington, IA; maternal grandmother Beverly Miller Jones of Monmouth, IL, paternal grandparents Englantina and Lorezo Guajardo of TX, one brother Jacob Vester of Monmouth, IL; two sisters Almalicia and Lydia Guajardo both of Burlington, IA. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Sanjaun Rodriguez, 1 aunt Lidia Rodriguez, and 2 uncles Reynaldo and Juan Gabriel Guajardo.
She was born and raised in Monmouth, IL. She attended ICS and Harding schools. She loved playing softball for the YMCA. She loved all kinds of music especially oldies.
Funeral service Wednesday April 21, 2010, 5:00pm at Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL with a visitation following from 6:00-8:00 pm.
