Pacolet Mills, SC - William M. Ellison died at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1965 in the General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Son of the late Joseph and Jane Grooms Ellison and a retired employee of Pacolet Mills. Member of the Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Survivors included: his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Winstead Ellison; daughters, Mrs. Verdie Messer, Mrs. Hazel Trent, Mrs. Christine Garrison, and Mrs. Shirley Fortner; sons, Edward and Raymond Ellison; sister, Mrs. Laura Moore; Howard, Hubert, Lloyd, Charlie and Homer Ellison; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
