Pacolet Mills, SC - Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ellison died Thursday morning, Jan. 8, 1970 in Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Native of Tennessee and widow of William Ellison. Daughter of James and Matilda Purkey Winstead and member of Pacolet Mills Church of God. Retired employee of Pacolet Manufacturing Company. Survivors included: four daughters; a son; a sister; four brothers; 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was 78 years of age at her demise and interment was in the White Rose Cemetery.
