Lee Eskridge, 85, died Friday night at Cushing Memorial Hospital. He was born in Platte City, and at the time of his death was a resident of Dearborn, [Missouri]. He had been a Platte County resident all his life.
He is survived by his widow, Marie, of the home, and four daughters, Mrs. James Ussery, 21st and Ottawa; Mrs. Clark Purvis, Edgerton, Mo., Mrs. B.E. Smith, Andrews, Tes., and Miss Dixie Eskridge, 404 Olive; four sons, Elmer Eskridge, Ferrelview, Mo., and John, James and Glen Eskridge, all of Dearborn; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dearborn Methodist Church, with burial in the Platte City Cemetery. The body is at the Vaughn-Aufrane Funeral Home, Dearborn.
