When she was five years old her mother died and she moved to Cambridge where she lived with her grandparents. She attended school in Cambridge and was married to Earnest Lake, Sept. 21, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah, LDS Temple. Following their marriage, the family moved to Idaho Falls where they farmed.
She was a member of the LDS Church and a visiting teacher in the Relief Society organization. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed embroidery and crochet.
She is survived by her husband Earnest and the following sons and daughters all of Idaho Falls; Mrs. Arlene (Mathilda) Dunlap, Miss August E. Lake, Mrs. Anna Marie French, Ernest Lake, and a foster son, George R. Austin, Idaho Falls. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, three sisters and one brother.
She was preceded death by two sons and four daughters. Five died in childhood and a son Arthur Lake died three years ago at the age 29.
