Allen Lee Estep, 57, Cresson, died Thursday at home.

He was born in Huntington, W.Va., son of Leelan and Aline (Sigmon) Estep.

He is survived by his mother; his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Murray); and sons: Craig and Joseph Baum; and sisters: Toni Hughes and Leah Montgomery (Mike), all of Cresson.

He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Sydnie Nicole, on Sept. 5, 2007; a nephew, Tyler Montgomery, on Sept. 5, 2007; and a brother-in-law, Sonny Hughes.

Mr. Estep was a former purchasing agent for Calandra Industries, Cresson.

He had been a drummer with the local band Forces in the late 1970s.

Allen was an avid reader, and Cincinnati Bengals and Nascar fan.

Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cresson Alliance Church, Pastor Cal Wiedemann. Interment will be at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
