Like a ray of sunshine blotted out by a dark cloud. That was the effect left in this community when it learned of the sad news that little Miss Virginia Andrews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Andrews of here, had passed away early Sunday morning. Death came to the little five year old girl at the General Hospital in Minneapolis following a two week's illness with scarlet fever. She was first taken to the hospital on Sunday morning, June 16 being in critical condition at that time.

Funeral services were held at the Lindstrom Cemetery Tuesday with father Coughlin of Rush City officiating.

Virginia Louise Andrews was born on Sept 17, 1930 in Lindstrom. She attended nursery school here this spring. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Andrews and two sisters. The community joins with the Andrews family in the hour of sorrow.
