MRS. BRUNS IS DEATH VICTIM
Lifelong Resident of County To Be Buried Thursday

Mrs. Mary Bruns, a widow of the late Carl Bruns and a lifelong resident of the county, died last night at the home, 911 Madison street. She had been seriously ill, for the past week, of complications and was 78 years of age.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the Pfeffer funeral home and at 2 p.m. from the First German Evangelical Lutheran church. Interment will be at St. Paul's Newton cemetery.

Born Mary Sturm in the town of Newton, the deceased was married there 62 years ago to Carl Bruns. They took up their residence on a farm in the township and remained there until 20 years ago when they came to this city. Mr. Bruns died 12 years ago.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Henry Vollheim, West Allis, Mrs. Walter Kreie, city, and Mrs. Henry Waak, Newton, a son Carl of Newton, 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the Pfeffer funeral home until the hour of the funeral.
