Pages 272-273 - Robert Vorhees Rothrock, born 2 Jul 1890, West Lafayette, IN; died 26 Nov 1959, Kendallville, IN. He married 7 Apr 1915, Lafayette, IN, Gertrude Dienhart, born 4 Dec 1896, Lafayette, IN; died 2 Dec 1966, Kendallville, IN. They are both buried in Grandview Cemetery, West Lafayette, IN.

Gertrude was the daughter of Dr M J and Mary Riedlinger Dienhart of Lafayette, IN. Robert grew up on the family farm and attended the local schools. He helped his father on the farm and accompanied his parents when they moved to northern Indiana. He and his family made their home with his parents and shortly after his father's death, he sold the farm and moved into Kendallville where he lived until his death. "Dan" as he was called by his family and friends was quite a tease, often pulling tricks on his nieces and nephews.
