Kinga Rzeszowska, 5, her mother, Izabela, 30, brother Kacper, 2, and grandfather Marek Gartski, 55, who lived with the family, were victims in a fatal family stabbing that left a total of 6 people dead. The suspect was identified as Damian Rzeszowski, 30, husband to Izabela and father of her two children. The attacks started in the home and later carried into the street. After stabbing his family and the second family to death, he turned the knife on himself attempting to take his own life but failed in doing so. He was treated at a hospital for his life stab wounds and underwent surgery.
