Air Force Veteran of Korea, a dairy farmer for 20 years, a retired Captain from Louisiana Department of Corrections and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Myra Roberts and husband, Jamie, Kentwood; 2 sons, Randy Dedon and wife, Holly, Plant City, FL and Joe Dedon and wife, Erika, Covington; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Alford Dedon; parents, Ollie and Lois Dedon; step-mother, Tessie Dedon; 2 brothers, James Pete Dedon and Ray Dedon; 2 sisters, Marie Sissy Fortenberry and Mary Taylor; 1 daughter, Debra Terry; 2 grandchildren, Earl Dedon and Nikki Kennedy. Private Services will be held at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
