Verna A. Aiello, age 90, of Christiana, PA passed away at her home on Friday, August 26, 2011. She was the wife of the late Dominick J. Aiello who passed away on September 13, 1976. She was born in Doylestown, PA, daughter of the late John & Kathryne Erhardt Belli.

She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle, Glen Mills, PA. She owned The Century Antique Shop in Doylestown. She had also worked at the family business, Jack's Dog Farm, in Pipersville, PA until she married. In 1955, she and her husband, Dominick, started King Kennels in Concordville, PA until 1976. She attended the University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Sons of Italy. She enjoyed antiques and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is a daughter, Kathy L. wife of David A. Arroyo of Christiana; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by two siblings: John Belli, Jr. and Hazel Imbesi.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 31st, from Our Lady of Consolation Church, Chestnut Street, Parkesburg, PA with Mass beginning at 11 a.m. Father Victor J. Eschbach will be officiating. Friends may view and greet the family at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place in St. Thomas Cemetery, Glen Mills, PA. Arrangements by the Shivery Funeral Home, Christiana & Paradise.
