She was born on May 29, 1887 at Fulda, MN, a daughter of Aloisius and Antonia Leopold. The family came to the area north of Carpio for a short time when she was a young woman before moving to Kenmare. She worked in Kenmare as a seamstress and then married Edward Gregoire at Kenmare on July 5, 1937. They lived and farmed south of Donnybrook and he died on November 25, 1958. She then lived in Donnybrook until moving to Kenmare in 1980.
In Donnybrook she was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. In Kenmare she was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and the St. Agnes Society.
She is survived by her sons, Calvin of Donnybrook, and Michael of Kenmare; daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Eva) Miller of Donnybrook; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Agnes was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Steinberger.
