Carrie Allen Atchley was the daughter of Albert G W Allen and Rachel Elizabeth Patterson. She was the granddaughter of Absolum Roe Allen and Elizabeth Abigail Duggan Allen. She married her cousin Gregory Atchley, and together the couple worked on their grandparent's extensive farm holdings. Carrie died of tuberculosis at the age of 43.
